Along the event of Karnival Lepasan Sekolah Ipoh as a volunteer . I really touched to one of the speaker that is Dr.Syahr in his sharing moment about his study life (medical) in Australia until he finished his PHD . Reminiscing his lecture :-

After Dr.Syahr refuse the palestinian to be an imam at the masjid in his first came to australia due to lack of braveness and prioritize other people that are more likely have memorize much surah in the region. Instead, Brother palestine say to brother Syahr that make him change and inspire through his life, the brother from palestine say to him : "in palestine, even though war was occured and without proper convenience, I still have a chance to memorize alQuran in 9 years . But you came to australia with full sponsorship from your goverment after you score a high grade in your spm but still you can't memorize Al-Quran . What's the thing that kept you busy from memorizing Al-Quran after all this 18 years ? (his age at that time was 18 years old) Why aren't you trying to memorize even though you are muslim ? "

Dr.Syahr : I was honestly shock but bind with a concsious stated . To me, in the first day come to Australia . I never imagine that this unbelievably scene occured in my life that has kept me motivated and make a total paradigm change in me. After that, he undoubtly change my whole perspective about life and Al-Quran . Everyday I will TRY to read Al-Quran everyday even 3 ayat from Al-Quran . It still behold in me even in my studies from my first degree until I completed my phd in university adelaide, australia and emerge as the top student beating plenty of people from other countries even australian in their native language ! The advices from palestinian make me the person I'm today !
